Based in Liverpool, Active TT provides teaching and educational support services across Merseyside and parts of Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Established in March 2012, Active TT is looking to expand in the future.
We provide one to one tuition in a variety of subjects; a reengagement programme to actively move students into their next educational setting and, transition and travel training to support that move.
We are currently in the process of applying for non-Domestic Childcare status with the DFE so that our standards can be inspected by OFSTED”
Our ability to tailor teaching and support to meet any challenge differentiates us from other organisations in our field. This includes pupils who struggled to get out of bed, who might be highly dyslexia or pupils who have health and social problems or in some cases anger issues. At Active TT, we have seen a lot and managed to tailor our lessons so that students learn in the best way possible. We strive passionately to ensure that all pupils are supported educationally and socially.
We also provide reengagement visits and welfare visits as required by our partner schools/colleges/councils, and can provide online tuition on platforms such as Microsoft Teams.
Our teachers and other staff have experience in supporting children with special needs, children with anxiety and ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, dyspraxia and Irlen syndrome. A number of staff have personal and passionate links to these issues.
“There’s this mistaken view that kids with SEND can’t achieve. We’ve found the opposite because children with SEND are often gifted, and once they receive the appropriate teaching and support, they succeed. “
